Mediascope Named Exclusive India Representative for Global Future Forum, Marking Major Expansion of International Innovation Platform
Mediascope has been appointed exclusive India representative of Future Forum, a global platform supported by the UK Department for Business and Trade, Meta Reality Labs, and leading institutions. The initiative connects global leaders across innovation, technology, and policy, with a major summit planned in London in October 2026.
Future Forum will operate as a year-round global initiative featuring thought leadership sessions, immersive experiences, networking forums, podcasts, live showcases, and curated cultural programming. The platform is positioned as a convergence point for shaping the next decade of global transformation across industries and societies.
The institutional backing for Future Forum underscores its international scale and strategic importance. The United Kingdom Government’s Department for Business and Trade provides sovereign-level support, enabling high-level policy engagement. Meta, through its Reality Labs division, joins as a launch partner, bringing advanced immersive technology capabilities to the platform. The British Chambers of Commerce contributes the collective strength of UK business leadership.
The platform is headquartered in King’s Cross Knowledge Quarter, widely recognised as one of the world’s leading clusters for artificial intelligence, technology, science, education, and culture. The ecosystem hosts global organisations including Meta and Synthesia, alongside major institutions such as the Crick Institute and University College London. Additional collaborators include Soho Theatre, Project Everyone, the Nelson Mandela Foundation, and Innovate UK.
Future Forum has been founded by Matt Scheckner, founding Chief Executive Officer of Advertising Week. Its leadership includes Rupert Turnbull, former Director of Fortune in Europe; Oli Barrett MBE, serial entrepreneur and co-founder of StartUp Britain; and Rebecca Eaves, former Director of Advertising Week Europe.
According to Matt Scheckner, Chairman and Founder of Future Forum, the platform is designed to unite people and ideas shaping the future, with Mediascope bringing strong credibility and deep cross-sector expertise across media, government, business, and culture to strengthen India’s participation in the global ecosystem.
Rupert Turnbull, Chief Executive Officer of Future Forum, stated that the initiative aims to connect industries and ideas shaping global transformation, and the partnership with Mediascope will create new opportunities for Indian brands and business leaders within this international network.
Marzban Patel, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mediascope, said Indian enterprises are actively seeking global platforms for strategic engagement and collaboration, adding that Future Forum offers a unique intersection of innovation, culture, technology, and creativity.
Under the exclusive mandate, Mediascope will lead partnerships, brand participation, and delegate engagement from India, enabling Indian organisations to connect directly with global leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators.
India’s role within Future Forum has been embedded in the platform’s global strategy from inception, recognising the country as one of the fastest-growing innovation and business ecosystems worldwide. This positioning is central to the platform’s international expansion plans for 2027 and 2028.
The India mandate will be led by Khushboo Gupta, Chief Business Officer at Encore Studios and Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Mediascope, who will oversee partnerships and stakeholder engagement across the country. She stated that Future Forum represents a powerful intersection of creativity, technology, business, and culture, offering meaningful opportunities for Indian participation in shaping global industry narratives.
Future Forum will culminate in a landmark global gathering scheduled from 13 to 15 October 2026 at King’s Cross, London.
The platform is structured around six core themes: Work Reimagined, focusing on the future of talent and productivity; Human Upgrades, addressing health, longevity, and human performance; Making and Materials, exploring advanced engineering and manufacturing; Systems in Motion, covering global networks of movement for people, goods, capital, and data; Living Planet, focused on climate resilience and regenerative systems; and Press Play, examining artificial intelligence and creative expression in shaping shared realities.
These thematic areas align closely with India’s expanding ambitions across manufacturing, fintech, life sciences, and digital infrastructure, positioning Indian stakeholders to play a central role in global discourse on future systems and innovation.
Future Forum describes itself as a global platform focused on the intersection of creativity, technology, innovation, and leadership, supported by the United Kingdom Department for Business and Trade and designed to connect leaders across industries, generations, and geographies through continuous year-round engagement.
